Shipping policy
There are several options, depending on your location, that will be shown to you at checkout.
PROCESSING TIME:
Processing time is the amount of time it may take for Gold Jar 28 to thoroughly inspect your items, Ensure there are no defects, missing or broken pieces and carefully package your goodies from the Gold Jar with love. Although we pride ourselves on shipping packages out same day or next day, depending on the time of day the order was placed, please allow 1-3 day processing time before the order is shipped out.
**Please understand estimated shipments (Ship out days) below are on a regular or normal sunny day. All times are in Eastern Standard time zone (EST). Should there be inclement weather, lock downs, holidays or any other situation similar to what has been previously stated, the below becomes null and void. Ship out times may be longer. Please refer to the USPS website for more information**
Monday Shipments:
Orders placed Friday 4:01 pm - Sunday 11:59 pm EST will be shipped out on Monday.
Ex: You place your order Saturday May 8th 5:30 PM. It will ideally be shipped out Monday May 10th.
Wednesday Shipments:
Orders placed Monday 12:00 am - Wednesday 4:00 pm EST will be shipped out on Wednesday.
Ex: You place your order Monday May 3rd 7am. It will ideally be shipped out Wednesday May 5th.
Friday Shipments:
Orders placed Wednesday 4:01 pm - Friday 4:00 pm EST will be shipped out on Friday.
Ex: You place your order Friday May 14th 3:50 pm EST. It will ideally be shipped out Friday May 14th.
USPS:
We ship through USPS. No orders will be shipped on the days the post office is closed. Orders will resume once the US Postal office is open. During holidays and/or harsh weather, shipping can be delayed or take longer than normal. All orders are shipped priority with tracking for your convenience which is included in the shipping you pay for. Gold Jar 28 and its affiliates are not responsible for any damages, undelivered or missing packages once packages are in possession of the United States Postal Service.
If you notice that you have entered the incorrect address at check out, please immediately (Before the item has shipped) email us at shop@goldjar28.com stating what happened and provide the proper address and we will try to update it on our end for you or provide you further steps to correct the situation. Once a package has shipped/ is out for delivery, we cannot correct the address and you will need to reorder your item online with the correct address, as long as it is in stock. No store credit will be issued for incorrect address once the order has shipped.
LOCAL DELIVERY:
We offer 1 - 3 day local delivery to any customer within 10 miles of 32703 that orders $100 or more in Goodies from Gold Jar 28 for only $6.00. Depending on the address you enter at check out, the system will calculate the distance and offer it to you should you qualify. To ensure safety of staff and our customers, the package may or may not be delivered in your hand. If you choose this option, please be sure to add a note AND a cell phone number that can receive text messages in case of any issues while delivering your Goodies.
Should you not be available at the time of delivery, we will leave your item near your front door unless otherwise instructed. We will always try to place packages out of site from the street view and out of the way of rain or harsh weather. We will take a picture once the item has been delivered, if you are not home to receive it "in hand", for proof of delivery.
Please be sure to enter in the correct address at check out. If your package is delivered to the wrong address due to an incorrect address entered at check out, Gold Jar 28 will not replace or issue store credit for those items. *Shipping is non refundable. If you should receive store credit, it will be the amount you paid MINUS the shipping you paid for your order to be delivered to you*
